One-hour condom delivery service launched in Dubai

By Associated Press

Need a condom delivered to your doorstep in an hour? Then Dubai is the place to be.

Already the launching pad for American fast-food restaurants and a Canadian coffee shop, the glittering Gulf metropolis now features a service from Durex and Buzzman Middle East called SOS Condoms.

Starting this week, users can have Durex products delivered within an hour to anywhere in the city from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. Users order condoms from their smartphone or a website.

Sandrine Girard, a spokesman for Buzzman, said Thursday that the service will expand to other cities with the next city decided by a competition on SOS Condoms' Facebook page.

Dubai has strict laws on sex-related issues, but is more liberal than the rest of the Persian Gulf.

great, I gaurentee that when this service comes to my town I'll be able to get a condomn to get to my house quicker than a police unit since it's a minority-heavy area and when that happens I'll welcome the apocalypse with open arms because there will be no point to living any longer.

It's faster to just drive to the corner store or pharmacy and get them yourself, or keep some in your wallet just in case the opportunity comes up (no pun intended).

They don't come with personal applicators if you have to go pick them up your self.

Faster just driving to the corner store- yes, Hot-In-Miami..... but then you'd have to get dressed and by then dinner would likely be cold....

Muslims. That means the condoms will be used by men having sex with other men.

It's against their religion to use condoms.

From all the news reports of people being jailed for holding hands in public, I would hardly think Dubai is the place to advertise you're going to have sex -- with anyone! I bet the morality police will be watching the addresses all these condoms are being shipped to, as well.

The bars in Dubai are choked with scantily clad westerners ... and that's how they want it. What goes on is no secret.

It was a bought a year ago a British couple were arrested on the beach in Dubai. And a male teen from France who was raped by two men was facing the possibility of charges of homosexual sex against himself. I am unsure how safe Dubai is to Western morality.

Why even mention crap like this. Especially since the Muslims don't know how to treat women decently. Yeesh. Slow news day I guess.

Why should they launched Condom in Arab country? The people there are very bad and dangerous and you know their religion is very violent. A place like Sharjah they don't wear sexy dresses in U.A.E

American rights are now only those that fit the "progressiva agenda". Just listen to any network news station.
