OK, I guess I now know more about the nutritional value of a bull's penis than I ever wanted to know. Are they more nutritious if you ingest them before they are dried. And are they super nutritious if you ingest them while they are still attached to the bull. That sounds like it could be dangerous.
Bottom line is I am sure your dog does not care about their nutritional value, or the fact that they are bull penises. After all, male dogs regularly lick their own and females, well that's another story.
I knew they were made of bull penises. I just didn't care because a bully stick can keep a puppy occupied for a long time & fulfill their need to chew.
And there was even some confusion among veterinarians — an unimpressive majority of vets (62 percent) polled by the researchers knew where bully sticks came from.
And why would animal doctors know details about animal treats?
My doctor sure isn't going to be able to tell me everything about all the foods I eat.
But they said their results at least suggest pet owners should wash their hands after touching such treats, as they would with any raw meat.
uh yeah, i know where bully sticks come from and i *definitely* wash my hands after handing them to the dogs.....seriously, who would even think those things are sterile??
I been giving my three dogs them for years and not once have they gotten sick from them, I only recently found out what they were made of but dogs liek to eat poop so I think a bull penis isnt' going to bother them much

"And are they super nutritious if you ingest them while they are still attached to the bull." I don't know, ask Barack Obama.

There's a joke in there somewhere.
