No illnesses have been reported. The grocery chain, owned by Supervalu Inc., said the move follows an expanded recall by XL Foods Inc. for ground beef products imported from Canada. The recall includes 1 lb. fresh ground beef patties, 1 lb. fresh ground beef chub, and 3 lb. fresh ground beef chub, all with the Albertsons store label. The products were sold between Sept. 3 and Sept. 21 in all Albertsons stores in Washington and Oregon, as well as three stores in Northern Idaho: Coeur d'Alene, Hayden and Lewiston. Customers should return any of the recalled products for a refund or replacement.
